Tool Maker Shift:
1st, (7am-3pm) Pay:
$25-$32/hr (Based on experience
Job Description:
Create and repair tools, dies, jigs and fixtures used within the manufacturing process.
Study blueprints, sketches, models or specifications to plan sequence of operations for the tool.
Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gage blocks, micrometers and dial calipers.
Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies based on specifications.
Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify tools using machine tools and hand tools.
