- Sort and organize mail for delivery routes - Load mail into vehicle and ensure it is secure for transportation - Drive assigned route to deliver mail to residential and business addresses - Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and post offices - Obtain signatures for registered, certified, and insured mail - Return undeliverable mail to the post office Requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy packages and bags of mail, up to 50 pounds - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Familiarity with route driving and ability to navigate efficiently - Comfortable operating vehicles with manual transmission - Experience as a van driver or courier is a plus - Ability to load and unload mail using pallet jacks and other equipment - Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial Note:
