Summary:
The Sorter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting materials on the conveyor line by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyInspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in container according to type, size, condition, coloring, or paper gradePull contaminants out of paper or off floorStack boxes and skidsDump boxes and totes of materialFeed material, such as wastepaper onto conveyorClean up conveyor and surrounding sorting lineKeep the surrounding work area cleanRead monitor for machine start up and ensure machine is operating properly and at a moderate speedFollow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as guideline for operating and maintaining equipmentReport any worker-public safety factors and/or equipment malfunctionsAttend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetingsOther duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY

Three months related experience or training Preferred:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
