A Copy Editor and Proofreader is the supportive force driving each of these areas, and we're currently seeking someone stellar to lead this important role.
The ideal professional for the role is a detail-oriented professional with 5
years of experience in proofreading and editing.
Candidate must be proficient in grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and style guidelines.
Qualified candidates should be skilled in proofreading web content, social media, business, and marketing materials and able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:

Proofread and edit press releases, newsletters, business communications, and other official documents for grammar, consistency, and clarity.
Collaborate with authors to ensure accurate content.
Develop and maintain style guides.
Review and improve website copy and social media posts.
Collaborate with content creators to enhance readability and engagement.
Conducted final quality checks before publication.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and OneDrive, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator is a plus, but not required.
Strong command of grammar and style.
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Analytical, strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills required.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Education/
Experience:
Associates degree required.
Minimum 5 years related experience.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize, work well both independently and as a team member, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

$20 - $30 per hour DOE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
