Summary:
The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of products and components. This role involves working closely with our engineering and design teams to develop conceptual and final designs that meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, proficient in CAD software, and a keen eye for detail.Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data. Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations. Develop 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring compliance with specified standards and procedures. Work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure accurate, practical, and efficient design solutions. Make necessary changes and adjustments to drawings as required based on feedback from manufacturing, engineering, or clients. Assist in design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or improve the quality of products. Coordinate and consult with other members of the engineering team and other departments as required. Maintain technical coordination and project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and project files. Stay updated with the latest CAD technology and industry best practices. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field. 2
years of experience in CAD design and engineering. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
