Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ability to run a CNC Lathes.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Determine tooling requirements, setup procedures and control settings.
Monitor while machining and adjust speeds and feeds accordingly.
Enter program commands in machine controller or retrieves preprogrammed code Manually adjusts machine controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining.
Ability to recommend production improvement methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to CNC Foreman and Plant Manager Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area on a daily basis.
Skills and experience required:
Ability to machine various metals of various grades, hardness, shapes, and conditions from simple to complex Lift materials up to 50 pounds.
